So we have another HotD in the books.  This marks the first time in more than 2 years I've done anything new costuming wise, and honestly is really the first time I've done anything since my move.  Aside from the couple of costumes from D*C that I already had, this is me getting back into it.  I'll be honest, Ivy was a little intimidating.  It's a lot of skin and for once it made me nervous.  I also learned a few things doing it.  LOL Like when you glue leaves on you will lose the stretch, so plan for a zipper ahead of time!  Ivy was kind of a quick go and I *may* decide to redo it at some point.  We will see.

HotD was a bit difficult for me this year.  A lot going on and my heart wasn't in it.  Thankfully I had friends there who cheered me up and made me laugh.  We should be seeing images popping up soon.  Some of my fav photographers were there again, like Patrick Sun.  Who you all know I adore.  So stay tuned.  Uploads as soon as I get them.

So, I am doing a costume event towards the end of Feb and trying to decide what to do/take.  Trying to work with fabric I have and not buy new fabric (Seriously I have SO MUCH fabric.  I need to use it up.)

I think I want to do a Widow suit that isn't a rushed job for once (Seriously nearly all my suits are super rushed).  And while I'd like to do the OUAT Snow White, I don't think I can get all the hand beading done in time.

So right now I have a LOT of Red, Blue, Black and grey spandex.  I also have a bit of green.  I am open to suggestions!

Good news, I am attending DragonCon this year.  I don't know that I will be doing any costuming as that leads to the better news.... I am moving back home!  YAY.  Which means costumes will be packed up, hence the lack of them this year for D*C most likely.  I am potentially sneaking Velma and Marion down.  This will be the first year I wont' have a Widow costume in I don't know how long.

But YAY I'm moving home!!

All moved and been here for 2 months now.  Life is crazy.  House full of moving boxes still since we've sort of had to move everything in stages.  It is, quite honestly, driving me up a fucking wall.  I had gotten everything sorted a bit... enough I thought I could work on some projects anyway, only to have the last round get here and now I'm just completely overwhelmed.

The job is good for the most part, so there's that.  Right now I really miss home and MY house and my people...
